Discover the amazing Abbey Caves just a short walk from our property - see thousands of glow worms, stalactites & stalagmites, underground waterfalls, and spectacular rock formations in three unique undeveloped caves. We provide all the gear you will need for this adventure.

Scuba Diving at the Poor Knights Islands Tutukaka named by Jacques Cousteau as one of the world's top 10 dive locations. Spectacular water clarity and warm sub-tropical currents provide a rich, varied and abundant sea life. Dive trips depart Tutukaka daily. When you BOOK YOUR DIVES with us we will give you adiscount on your room.Just let us know when you want to go diving and we will organise everything.
Jon your host is a qualified PADI Dive Master and will be able to assist with all your diving needs. We have outdoor wash facilities for your dive gear.

Explore the R H Reed Kauri Park just down the road and from here. The park features a canopy walkway giving a birds-eye view of the forest and includes two 500 year old Kauri trees. You can also take a scenic bush walk to the Whangarei Falls the most photogenic waterfall in New Zealand

Don't miss the picturesque bays and beaches of the Whangarei Harbour including the spectacular unspoiled beauty of Ocean Beach. Enjoy some of the finest beaches in the country - Matapouri, Whale Bay, Sandy Bay

Please note that CHECK IN time is : After 2pm and no later than 6pm the and also that the Tutukaka coast (Poor Knights) is 30 minutes drive from Whangarei and here. The Dive shuttle bus does not stop at our property so you must provide your own transport or contact us to help arrange transport. ALSO there is no public transport to our place so you will need a car or taxi will cost around $15
