• From S leave M6 at Jct 35, take A6 to Milnthorpe. From N leave M6 at Jct 36, turn L and immediately L again onto A65 (Crooklands), then L on B6385 to Milnthorpe. Take B5282 to Arnside.
• Alternatively there is a train station in Arnside about 15 minutes walk from the hostel. There are direct services to Barrow-in-Furness to the west and Manchester Stations ( inc the International Aiport ) via Lancaster and Preston to the south.
• There is also a bus service from Kendal ( Bus No: 552 ) to Arnside via Milnthorpe. Please note that the last buses from Kendal to Arnside are at 1815 (Monday to Friday) and 1705 (Saturdays). There is NO Sunday service.
