• The Beetles is located at the heart of the Old Town on a quiet street off Ren Min Lu, no. 14 Xin Min Lu.
• Coming from Xiaguan by taxi it will take approximately thirty minutes. Fare costs 50RMB. Ask the driver to drop you at Dali No.4 Middle School. From there, continue uphill on foot for 50 metres. Turn left at Xin Min Lu. You will see a sign that says 'Catholic'. Continue 30 metres up the lane. The hostel is located on your right. You will see a big red sign with The Beetles on it.
• Coming from Xiaguan by bus, take bus no. 8 from the train station. Fare costs 1.5RMB and will take approximately 40-60 minutes. Get off at the East Gate and walk up Ren Min Lu toward the mountain for approximately 500-600m. When you reach Xin Min Lu, turn left. The hostel is located at no. 14. You will see the sign with the little red beetle on it.
