Venice Lagoon House, Tessera

• Venice Lagoon House B&B address is: Via Tenda 11, Venezia (Tessera village). Our bus stop is Tessera Centro.
• Here below directions to arrive here from Venice, Mestre and from the Airport.
• FROM VENICE Railway Station:
• Go out the train station and go to the right, straight on 2 minutes and then across the big Costituzione Bridge (the one partially made of glass) on the Gran Canal.
• You are now in PIAZZALE ROMA, the BUS STATION.
• Buy a 'normal bus ticket', it costs 1,50 euro (if you buy it on board the bus it costs 3 euro) and the bus ride takes about 18 minutes. You can buy the ticket in the official bus ticket shop or at Tobacconist or at News agent kiosk.
• Then catch the bus 5 (it works until Midnight and Forty minutes, last ride).
• GET OFF THE BUS AT 'TESSERA CENTRO' (it is the second last bus stop, the last one is the Airport) and walk to the right, like opposite way of the bus, and you will see on you left, first La Sosta cafe bar, then a Pharmacy, then Al Quadrante Restaurant and then, after the restaurant, turn on the first to the left, it is Via Tenda (Tenda street), this street it is a little bit before the Hotel Titian Inn (Best Western).
• Then walk straight on in Via Tenda for about 100 metres, our house is number 11, on the left side of the street, it is just a regular house (the color is 'olive green').
• FROM TRONCHETTO (it is a small bus station) you have to reach PIAZZALE ROMA (the main Bus Station) by the People Mover (it is a little electric train, it costs 1 euro and the ride from Tronchetto to Piazzale Roma, that is end of line, it takes only 3 minutes).
• Then follow the instructions I wrote above in the first paragraph from the point: 'You are now in PIAZZALE ROMA, the BUS STATION.'
• FROM MESTRE Railway Station:
• Ask for a 'normal bus ticket', it costs 1,50 euro, you can buy it at Tobacconist and at News Agent kiosk.
• Go out of the station and across the big road (Viale Stazione), once acrossed go to the right along the road and after the Hotel Plaza there is the bus stop where you can catch the bus 15 (it is the bus going to the Airport).
• The bus ride takes about 18 minutes.
• Get off the bus at 'Tessera Centro' bus stop, it is the second last bus stop (the last one is the Airport).
• Then follow the instruction I wrote above (first paragraph) from the point: GET OFF THE BUS AT 'TESSERA CENTRO'.
• Be aware that BUS 15 STOPS RUNNING AT 8PM.
• If your train arrive in Mestre after 8pm then it is better you don't get out the train and you continue until Venezia S. Lucia that it is the next station and also end of line (at least for 99% of the trains).
• When you in Venezia S. Lucia railway station then follow the instructions I wrote in the first paragraph (you will catch the bus 5 that runs until Midnight and Forty minutes).
• FROM THE AIRPORT:
• you can arrive in three different ways:
• BY BUS: catch the bus 5 or 15 and get off at the first bus stop 'Tessera Centro', then you acroos the road and go to the right, you will see on your left the Kebab take away, La Sosta cafe bar, the Pharmacy, then Al Quadrante Restaurant and then, after the restaurant turn on the first street to the left, it is Via Tenda (Tenda street), this street it is a little bit BEFORE the hotel Titian Inn (Best Western).
• Then walk straight in Via Tenda for about 100 metres, our house in number 11 on the left side of the road, it is just a regular house.
• WALKING from the airport: follow the map you can see in my photos here in Hostelworld, it takes 20 minutes walking with baggage, for a little part of the path, about 100 mteters, there is a narrow area for walking (not a real side walk), so walk in single file for those 100 meters.
• BY TAXI: around 18 euro during the day, 25 euro during the night (many services are expensive in Italy due to our very high taxation).
• From my house to Venice for 4 buses per hour until midnight.
• Line 5 runs day and night and connects the Airport to Venice historical center (it ends to run at 00.40, midnight forty).
• Line 15 connects the Airport to Mestre railway station (but it ENDS TO RUN at 8pm).
• Both bus lines stops in 'Tessera Centro' bus stop.
