• Here are the directions on how to reach Niriis hotel:
• By plane (Chania airport), bus and car rental:
• From the airport to Chania there are busses (local bus schedule, they change every week: www.e-ktel.com/en/component/imeticket/?view=routetable) every 2 hours to Chania (first at 5:00, last at 24:00, depending on season), price 2.50 euro each ticket. The airport is 19km from the hotel, 20 minute ride to Chania. When in Chania, you have to catch another bus from 1866 square, 1 block away from the terminal of the airport bus in Chania central bus station (please see info below 'By Bus'). Public transport is easy.
• You can also take a taxi, it's around 30 Euro to the hotel. It's 25 Euro to Chania. Always ask the average price before you board a taxi! There is no need to make an advanced booking, as there are plenty of taxis waiting in the taxi rank opposite the airport terminal.
• Car rental is around 30 euro per day, if you rent for 4 days, you pay for 3. Gas in Crete is 1.85 euro per litre. If you have a car I will give you ideas where to go and what to do! If you are 3 persons, its cheaper to rent a car than go excursion by bus.
• The car rental company that we advise to use is Speed rent a car (www.speed-wheel.com). It's reliable, give full insurance and are located around the corner from Niiriis hotel.
• For directions from airport, drive towards the west of Chania to Kladissos junction. Please follow the directions bellow from Kladissos.
• By bus from: Chania / Chania Central bus station (local bus schedule, they change every week):
• In Chania walk to 1866 square (Platia 1866, in Greek), where the busses depart and terminate to/from Agii Apostoli (where Niriis hotel is). Take bus no 21 (and others) from 1866 square. It's 1 minute walk (50m) between the bus stop and Chania central bus station. The distance is even shorter from Chania Central bus station (local bus schedule, they change every week: www.e-ktel.com/en/component/imeticket/?view=routetable). First bus for Agii Apostoli departs at 7:00, last one at 23:00 from 1866 square, but we recommend to be there earlier. Alternatively get a taxi from 1866 square. Buy your ticket from the kiosk (1.20 euro), before you get on the bus to Agii Apostoli, the tickets are cheaper if you buy them before you get on the bus. When you get on the bus, ask the driver to drop you by Agii Apostoli car parking, next to Agii Apostoli Park. You will know you are there when you see the sea. When you get off the bus on the car parking, and the sea is behind you, you will see opposite Xenios Dias restaurant. From there Niriis is 30m. Or ask to stop after Lidl or Inka supermarkets in Agii Apostoli and find Xenios Dias restaurant in front of car park. On the left of the restaurant is a very small, two-direction street, Herakleous Street. Go in, the road goes left, then in 5m you will see Niriis hotel on the left hand side.
• By car, from Chania:
• Go to Kladissos junction, the west borders of Chania town, with 6 traffic lights. From there Niriis is 3km. Keep all straight, turn right on the third traffic light that you come across, when you see on your right hand side INKA supermarket, after going down from a hill. From there Niriis is 300m. Then go all straight. You will see a small football pitch on the right, and a small park on the left. You can see the sea. From there Niriis is 100m. Turn left and drive along the park. You will arrive in a big car park, the sea is in front of you. On the big car park there is a restaurant, Xenios Dias. From there Niriis is 30m. On the left of the restaurant is a very small, two-direction street, Herakleous Street. Go in, the road turns left, in 5m on the left hand side you will see Niriis hotel.
