Our hostel is located in the small outport community of Lead Cove, Newfoundland. This older restored salt box home is located on the scenic and historic Baccalieu Trail on the Bay de Verde peninsula. Hiking, biking, fishing and swimming are among some of the many outdoor activities this region has to offer. Shops are nearby for gas and food/drink supplies.

There are six bedrooms with a total of 12 dbl. beds. In addition we have a large common kitchen, library and entertainment room with lots of space so that it doesn't feel cramped even with a large group. Outside we have a large front garden, a big deck and a fire pit out back .

• Lead Cove is a 2 hour drive from St. John's on the Trans Canada Highway (Route 1- West).
• Take exit 31 (Route 75) to Carbonear and then follow Route 74 through Heart's Content and on towards Old Perlican (Route 80). Once past the Lead Cove sign look for the third house on the left (ocean side) with the bright red wooden bin with white stars at the beginning of our driveway.
