• From any of the 3 terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, take a coupon / airport taxi to avoid being ripped off by unscrupulous drivers. (It is still an option to take a metered taxi if you are arriving when the sun is still up; you can spot the more reliable operators based on the list found in the last lines of this write-up.)
• As of March 1, 2016, our new location -- away from the noise of the busy Makati Avenue but still within the center -- is:
• 3rd Floor, Wang Mart Bldg, #37 Polaris Street, Bel-air Village, Makati City.
• Directions:
• From the airport, take a cab and tell driver to head off to EDSA in the direction of Makati City. On EDSA, make a left turn to Ayala Avenue, then a right turn after a couple of minutes to Makati Avenue. Drive along Makati Avenue going to the direction of A. Venue or Century Mall (towards J.P. Rizal Street). On the 3rd stoplight, past Petron Gas Station on the left side of the road, you will see McDonalds on the left side where Makati Avenue intersects with Jupiter Street.
• Turn right on Jupiter Street. Then, turn immediately right on Polaris Street (landmark: Dong Won Korean Restaurant). Polaris is a winding one-way road. Make sure that your taxi keeps driving on the right side. After passing exactly three streets on the left at short distance to each other, you will see Wang Mart Korean grocery store on the right side, across Alba's (Spanish) restaurant. Get off the taxi at this point. We are at the 3/F of the same building. There is no elevator/lift so you would need a little exercise to carry your bags up to where we are. Your fare (if metered) should not exceed P300 even on heavy traffic.
• For a thorough location, look up Wang Mart Polaris Makati Metro Manila on googlemaps.
• (It is an option to take the mass transport ONLY IF YOU ARE ARRIVING AT TERMINAL 1; you can take a bus bound to Cubao or any bus passing through EDSA. But this will only be practical or comfortable for you if your time of arrival or boarding the bus is outside the rush hours 7:00-10:00 / 16:00 - 21:00; otherwise, just please kindly take the taxi.
• For an additional P20.00, you can also take the express route or sky-way from the airport. The best exit (without horrendous traffic) is Magallanes if arriving outside the rush hours. That will again take you to EDSA, then to Ayala Avenue as mentioned earlier in this section.)
