Set in a secluded oak wood on the eastern side of the Dartmoor National Park, Devon, Blytheswood Hostel is a detached wooden chalet overlooking the Teign Valley. It is an ideal base for exploring rugged high Dartmoor and the delightful Teign Valley rich in wild flowers, butterflies, and birds. The surrounding native woodland and nature reserve are home to badgers, deer, and otters. There are walks straight from the door (come and see the daffodils in spring) and fishing, golf, and cycling nearby. Blytheswood provides flexible accommodation in 5 bedooms, sleeping between 2 and 8 people in bunks. The hostel is ideal for use by families and groups who can book exclusive use of the whole hostel, part of the hostel or a private room. There is a fully equipped self catering kitchen, lounge and dining room with wood burning stove, drying room, and picnic areas. Duvets, pillows, and linen are all provided.
