How is Glenshee Bunkhouse rated on other websites?

I called to book a cot - three times I called and was told someone would get back to me -eventually it transpired that they had no record of my booking and had no room for us, this was due to an internet breakdown which I can understand. They then told me that if i had booked through hostelbookers then it was for the bunkhouse and they had bunk beds available- (at £75 - I dont think so), so doubting myself I checked my booking and it definitely was the hotel. Luckily (?) a cancellation gave us a twin room(we had booked a double) oh and they had no cot. we arrived to wait at reception for ages while the bar man wandered about muttering 'this bloody place'. the couple who booked in front of us seemed to have two double rooms booked even though they only wanted one. We asked for their spare room but were told we would get one if one came available - not that we were that fussed but I wish I had pushed a bit harder - of course nothing was available to our knowledge. We were put in a room right next to the lounge (full of teenagers) and the fire door (which was open all the time - i kept having to go and close it as we couldnt sleep). The bar tenders were pretty poor. I was waiting in a queue for 10 minutes and when I got to the bar the bar man said 'I'm off for a cigarette before I hit someone' charming!! The second bar man ignored me and served a man who had just arrived - this happened TWICE!! The dinner was good and the breakfast was ok. The receptionist was in socks and there were queues for everything. Breakfast - the guests were continuously asking for things to be topped up as they were'nt on top of it while some staff were wondering around doing nothing. I know its a busy ski season but its been long enough now. great location but only go there if you have to. Ridiculous for the price - can understand if it was a hostel but certainly not the price.
