For those of moderate means and willing to make a short trip by train or bus to the city center, I highly recommend this hotel. I generally have a critical eye, and my stay had only a few glitches.
The service is friendly, professional, and helpful. The building is well cared for and the breakfasts are quite good. Although the walk along the busy thoroughfare to local establishments can be a little tiring, the One-Stop Shopping Center offers a variety of goods and services, the Greyhound Track provides solid entertainment, and the Boar's Head Pub, about a 10-minute walk away, serves good food in a comfortable atmosphere.
A good stay in Birmingham.

Wonderful. Clean and fresh throughout. It's very handy for the greyhound stadium. Staff very friendly and welcoming; they couldn't do enough to help. Highly recommended.
